System Q PLC is Launched

CBI recently launched the latest in PLC technology by showcasing the Mitsubishi System Q on a countrywide roadshow.
The innovative System Q Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) was presented to customers at events around the country where guests were treated to a breakfast presentation after which they could view the System Q in action!
The main function was held in Johannesburg at the prestigious Castle in Kyalami where we invited our Systems Integrators (SI’s), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) and End-Users. These functions were then held in the four other major regions, namely Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth.
The PLC offers many advanced features in comparison to its predecessor the ANS range such as substantial mounting space reduction and high speed customised CPU’s, however one feature that is worth emphasising is the multiple CPU configuration which can integrate a combination of PLC, motion or PC CPU’s. We were also delighted to host the Industrial Automation team from Mitsubishi Germany who flew in for a few days to attend our System Q launch as well as a two-day Sales and Marketing conference. Wolfgang Kowalewski, the Sales Manager for Exports, and his team of Marketing specialists, presented their strategies accompanied by in depth information on the Mitsubishi Electric product set. This conference was also an opportunity for some of our System Integrators to give us some valuable insight into their success stories where Mitsubishi products proved successful in various projects. These interesting cases highlighted that the Mitsubishi range of Automation products can be used in a wide range of applications and projects.
