The University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) Solar Team was awarded the Technology and Innovation Award at the end of the 2014 Sasol Solar Challenge in Cape Town on Saturday, 4 October.  The Sasol Solar Challenge is an international event with solar cars participating from South Africa, Cypress, Holland, India, Iran and Turkey.

The CBI-electric: low voltage Cape Town team is proud to have participated in the WORLD HABITAT DAY BUILD WEEK held from the 6th to the 10th of October 2014 working together with Habitat for Humanity to build homes, communities and hope. CBI-electric assisted Habitat for Humanity SA in Pelican Park - the largest integrated development project in the Western Cape.

Joint press statement by Wirelec Industries and Micromatica

This article as published in the Beeld on the 30th of June 2014 and the Business Day on the 1st of July, resulted from court proceedings.  Wirelec Industries and Micromatica sold to its customers certain Earth Leakages that were counterfeit and non-compliant CBI branded earth leakge devices.  These earth leakage devices were not manufactured by Circuit Breaker Industries (Pty) Ltd t/a CBI-electric: low voltage.

Reunert electrical engineering division announced today the appointment of CBI-electric: low voltage as the exclusive distributor for Moeller GmbH Germany in South Africa and selected African countries. The incorporation of Moeller South Africa into CBI-electric is effective from April 2008.

CBI-electric is proud to be associated with such a well-known brand in the industry. The addition of Moeller’s product range will enhance CBI’s industrial control portfolio, allowing customers to benefit from a wider range of products and solutions.
