The University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) Solar Team was awarded the Technology and Innovation Award at the end of the 2014 Sasol Solar Challenge in Cape Town on Saturday, 4 October. The Sasol Solar Challenge is an international event with solar cars participating from South Africa, Cypress, Holland, India, Iran and Turkey.

The theme for the conference was ‘Affordable Housing Opportunities for Southern Africa, incorporating Cape Town as the World Design Capital for 2014’.
The CBI-electric: low voltage Cape Town team is proud to have participated in the WORLD HABITAT DAY BUILD WEEK held from the 6th to the 10th of October 2014 working together with Habitat for Humanity to build homes, communities and hope. CBI-electric assisted Habitat for Humanity SA in Pelican Park - the largest integrated development project in the Western Cape.
